asexuality Question & Answer

It is normal to rarely think about sex or masturbate. Lots of people live like that and there's nothing wrong with that. I would probably feel trapped too if I were in a relationship with someone who expected more sex than I did. Maybe you can share your lack of sexual interest with the person you're dating right away so they can choose. If you scare them off, great! Then you can focus on finding a partner whose sex drive matches yours. I'm guessing you're going to have to talk about this up front though. Think of it as weeding people out. The good ones will stick. But quick question: What have you learned about asexuality? How do you know you're not asexual? JSYK, there's nothing wrong with that orientation.

No. Check age of consent laws in your state. 14 is under the age of consent in most places AND you're more then 2 years older (which also makes such a relationship against the law).

It's not okay. Find someone your own age.

No. There's no such thing as too asexual.

Which begs the question: How would too asexual? manifest itself? Solid Independence? Giving no f*cks? Not wanting to f*ck you? What do you mean ?too asexual??

There wasn't an event that told me I was asexual/aromantic (that is not how I identify). BUT there wasn't even an event that told me I was heterosexual - I just knew. Do you think that's how it could be for asexuals too? :)

Check out this documentary ?(A)SEXUAL? on YouTube (see below) to learn more about asexuality.

What is the objective of an asexual??

To live their life?

People who identify as Asexual are no different than you or me except for the fact that they do not experience sexual attraction to anyone else. It doesn't matter if you are male, female, or any other gender - they are not interested in boning you.

It's interesting to me that you're wondering about their objective. Like they have some ulterior motive in their lack of sexual interest.

Just sit back and relax in the fact that you don't have be concerned for someone who identifies as Asexual. There is nothing wrong with them and their sexuality is really none of our business.

Why are you the way you are? When did you decide that? Was it a choice? Do you think it's that way for asexuals?

Celibacy is the choice not to engage sexually with others. Asexuality is an orientation.
