If you find yourself thinking of women as interchangeable parts or objects, (as in the examples in the link) instead of thinking/feeling individuals with emotions and a life, and then you're probably guilty of objectifying women.

Yeah, him speaking for you is hella weird. But where are you? What part of the country? What's your religious background? Is this new behavior? This may be usual behavior for some groups of folks. Maybe he is following the role models from his upbringing.
Did he say he's doing this because you're trying to be cute?? Those were his words? What's wrong with you being cute? How old are you? Is he threatened by your cuteness? Is he threatened by other suitors? Is he suspicious of you for some reason (maybe he?s projecting?)? Has he always been this insecure?
Sit down and tell him you notice that he's been doing this since when. Then wait for his explanation. Maybe he apologizes. Maybe he defends. Maybe he justifies his behavior. You may need to consult a therapist or counselor to get additional help.
All in all, I have lots of questions and I think deep down you know all these answers. I'm sorry he's acting like a controlling, paternalistic jerk.

But I'll try to answer your question. Given generally accepted societal examples of alpha and beta males in the dating world, I wasn't testing for this per Se, but my experience has been that the men who fit the typical description of an alpha male are not very compassionate men nor considerate lovers across the board. They were actually rather selfish, with an undercurrent of homophobia, and had an ?I come first kind of an attitude in all the ways that can be interpreted. I personally would avoid any man who would refer to himself as an alpha and instead keep my eyes peeled to observe for behaviors I would want out of a potential future partner, qualities like an excellent leader (and eventually lover) who can communicate as well as listen. For starters. Your list may vary; what dealbreakers/dealmakers are on YOUR list?

It seems strange though. When I was pregnant and living in NYC, people (including men) would get up and offer their seat to me on the subway. Everyone seemed happy to see a pregnant lady.
I hope what you're noticing isn't a trend in more hate and violence toward women.

I think you're better off asking a man in or from India. I am not a man nor a representative of men from India. On the surface, the titles pseudo feminists and feminazis seem like they would be two very distinct and opposite types. But I want to ask about your word choice: when you say ?affair? what do you mean? That word means to me that he is having a long term relationship with someone outside your pairing. Are you two married? That's also part of the definition I hold about the word affair?.
There are people who can be ethical about sleeping with other people. But they usually disclose their relationships up front before they start dating/sleeping with others. Polyamory is something you can read about to learn more:
